Maggie Grace, born Margaret Grace Denig on 21 September the 21st of September 1983 in Worthington Ohio is an American actor. She is best known for playing Shannon Rutherford and Kim Mills and Kim Mills on ABC's Lost television show. She was born in Worthington in Ohio. She dropped out of high school after her parents split up to move into Los Angeles to live with her mother. However, in 2001, despite financial struggles she managed get her first significant performance in the video online series Rachel's Room playing the lead character. In 2002, she was awarded an Young Artist Award in 2002 for her performance in Murder on the streets of Greenwich of a 15-year old Martha Moxley as a murder victim, she went on to win. In 2004, Grace was selected to portray Shannon Rutherford in the television show Lost on which she acted as a principal actor for the first two seasons, and was awarded a Screen Actors Guild Award shared with the cast of the ensemble.
