Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is an Romanian TV presenter and actress. Her most well-known work is the lead in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control, and Rush. Since she was the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu. Alexandra began her showbiz career at a young age. Her roles included lead characters in TV dramas as young as 16 years old. She was praised for her role in Der Tunnel. This paved the way to other memorable roles, including Adolf Hitler's secretary of state Traudl Junge. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film that features this stunning actress. Alexandra has been involved in numerous notable national and international projects throughout her career. A few of them include the British biographical film Control, Greek drama movie The Dust of Time, as well as the French historical mini-series Napoleon. She also served on the jury of the Transylvania International Film Festival, as well as at the Cannes Film Festival.
