Matthew Matt James was conceived in North Carolina, on the 5th of December 1991. He is the father of Manny and Patty James and is of mixed race. He has a Nigerian father as well as a Caucasian mother. His father is Nigerian and his mother is caucasian american. He graduated from Sanderson High School in 2010, then went on to Wake Forest University, where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Economics in 2015 James first gained popularity after he became a Reality star in The Bachelorette. James was chosen in the year 2020 to be the 25th season bachelor of The Bachelor, becoming the first African American lead. The series premiered in 2021. James is the perfect fit to play the role because is tall, beautiful and funny. Rachael Krkconnell was selected as his partner for the season. He teamed up with the well-known dancer Arnold to take part in season 30 of Dancing with the Stars. James as well as Arnold placed 12th on the show.
